• “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” (PG): Animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros., and follows “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” of 2023. In theaters, April 1.

• “The Drama” (R): A happily engaged couple are put to the test when an unexpected revelation upsets their wedding week. Starring Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Alana Haim, Zoe Winters and Hailey Gates. In theaters, April 3.

• “A Great Awakening” (PG-13): A historical drama exploring the friendship between renowned preacher George Whitefield and Benjamin Franklin and Whitefield’s impact during the 18th-century Great Awakening religious movement. Starring Jonathan Blair, John Paul Sneed, Josh Bates, Matt Meyer and Stephen Foster Harris. In theaters, April 3.

• “Forbidden Fruits” (R): An employee secretly runs a witch cult with coworkers in the basement of a mall store, after hours. Starring Lola Tung, Lili Reinhart, Victoria Pedretti, Emma Chamberlain and Alexandra Shipp and Gabrielle Union.

• “They Will Kill You” (R): A young woman answers an ad for a housekeeping job at a New York City high-rise and soon finds that the building is run by a Satanic cult and she must fight to survive to avoid becoming their next offering. Starring Zazie Beetz, Tom Felton, Heather Graham and Patricia Arquette.

• “The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist” (PG-13): Hoping to figure out what’s happening with artificial intelligence, a father-to-be embarks on an eye-opening journey to learn more about it and what’s at stake. Starring Daniel Roher.

• “Project Hail Mary” (PG-13): Based on Andy Weir’s novel of the same name, science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship with no memory of who he is or how he got there. He soon realizes he must complete his interstellar mission to save Earth from a catastrophe. Also starring Sandra Hüller, Milana Vayntrub, James Ortiz and Ken Leung.

• “The Pout-Pout Fish” (PG): Animated fantasy comedy film, based on the children’s book by Deborah Diesen about a pouty fish and an energetic sea dragon, who go on a quest to find a legendary fish to grant their wish to save their homes.

• “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” (R): Horror/Comedy sequel to “Ready or Not.” After surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game, and this time with her estranged sister, Faith, (Kathryn Newton) by her side.

• “Dhurandhar The Revenge”: Indian Hindi-language spy action sequel starring Ranveer Singh as RAW agent Hamza Ali Mazari. Directed by Aditya Dhar, also starring Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt.

• “Reminders of Him” (PG-13): After an outing with her boyfriend, Kenna (Maika Monroe) makes an unbearable mistake that sends her to prison for seven years. After her release, Kenna returns to her hometown, hoping to rebuild her life and reunite with her young daughter. Film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book of the same name. Also starring Lauren Graham, Bradley Whitford, Rudy Pankow, Ledger Ward and Lainey Wilson.

• “Undertone” (R): A podcast host covering paranormal content begins receiving terrifying recordings pushing her toward madness. Starring Nina Kiri, Keana Lyn Bastidas, Adam DiMarco and Kris Holden-Ried.

• “The Bride!” (R): In 1930s Chicago, scientist Dr. Euphronious brings a murdered young woman back to life to be a companion for Frankenstein’s monster. Starring Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal and Penélope Cruz.

• “Hoppers” (PG): New Disney/Pixar animated comedy film where scientists discover a way to transform human consciousness into robotic animals, allowing people to communicate with animals. Featuring the voices of Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Meryl Streep and Dave Franco.

• “Scream 7” (R): New installment in the “Scream” franchise with a new Ghostface killer emerging in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life. Also starring Mckenna Grace, Matthew Lillard, Courteney Cox, Isabel May, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and David Arquette.

• “Goat” (PG-13): Animated comedy about a small goat named Will who gets to join the pros and play roarball, a high-intensity sport that’s dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Featuring the voices of Caleb McLaughlin, Stephen Curry, Aaron Pierre and David Harbour.
